Even though the U.S. president came out to mediate and threaten the Thai side with an immediate ceasefire with Cambodia, Thailand continues to violate Cambodia, completely rejects any third-party mediation, and continues to invade Cambodia without hesitation.

At a press conference titled "Update on the Thai invasion of Cambodian territory," held at the Peace Palace on Monday, July 28, 2025, Lieutenant General Maly Socheata, spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense, confirmed that at 3:17, a Thai plane dropped chemical fumes (toxic fumes) on An Ses in Preah Vihear province.

This act of aggression clearly shows that Thailand is not afraid of international law. In addition to using cluster bombs, large-scale weapons, and F-16 aircraft to attack and invade Cambodia, Thailand also used aircraft to spray chemical fumes over An Ses.
